Description
| 1 | Have skill to communicate politely and clearly with customers using verbal and non-verbal communication. |
| 2 | Capable to identify customer’s painting service requirements and preferences for colour, texture/ design. |
| 3 | Able to select the most appropriate tools, equipment and method to measure the painting area, e.g. a scale or tape for linear measurements. |
| 4 | Know to measure the painting area and calculate the quantity of material required. |
| 5 | Capable to identify the tools and equipment required, including PPE, for the job. |
| 6 | Efficient to estimate the workforce, time required and the total cost of completing the painting job. |
| 7 | Capable to identify and suggest appropriate painting solutions to the customer according to their budget . |
| 8 | Know to discuss the completion date and payment schedule with the customer and document the same. |
| 9 | Have skill to prepare the final invoice and submit it to the customer for payment, after the completion of painting work. |

| 16 | Able to select the appropriate painting material and mixing ingredients according to the desired finish. |
| 17 | Effiient to determine the base color of paint and select appropriate colorants, suitable for color match, to meet the aesthetic requirements. |
| 18 | Capable to apply the main coat of paint over primer coat within the recommended time limit, followed by the final coat as per the required tint. |
| 19 | Capable to apply an appropriate tackifier solvent or brush blast to roughen the surface in case recoat time of paint exceeds the specified time. |
| 20 | Able to use reducer/thinner/ water to adjust the viscosity of paint mix, as appropriate. |
| 21 | Capable to apply primer coat of paint to the leveled surfaces as per specification. |
| 22 | Able to prepare the mix of paint material and additives using them in the recommended ratio, following the standard procedure for effective mixing and dilution of paints. |
| 23 | Capable to ensure the cleaning of the surface of each dry coat appropriately before the application of next coat. |
| 24 | Able to identify the targets and timelines set by superiors. |
| 25 | Capable to complete the work with the allocated resources within specified time. |
| 26 | Understand the job role and follow the organisational policy. |
