Tile Layer

• Cleaning and leveling surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of tiles. 
• Applying waterproofing or other protective coatings as needed. 
• Preparing the base for tiling, which may involve applying plaster, sand, or cement. 
• Measuring and cutting tiles to fit specific areas, including around obstacles and in corners.
• Using various tools like tile cutters, tile saws, and tile drills.
• Mixing and applying adhesives and grouts.
• Laying tiles in the correct pattern and alignment, using levels, squares, and straightedges.
• Ensuring tiles are properly supported and secured.
• Installing mosaic tiles to create decorative designs.
• Applying grout and sealants to fill joints and protect the tiling.
• Cleaning excess grout and adhesive from the tiles.
• Conducting post-installation inspections and making any necessary adjustments.
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Cleaning and maintaining the work area.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans. 
• Communicating with clients, project managers, and other tradespeople to ensure project specifications are met. 
• Collaborating with other construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of tile work.
