Description
Responsibilities:
- Reading and understanding technical drawings, welding symbols, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Preparing metal surfaces for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning.
- Performing arc welding techniques, such as SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) or GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding), on various materials.
- Welding in different positions (flat, vertical, overhead) as required by the project.
- Inspecting welds for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and making necessary repairs.
- Maintaining and repairing welding equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
