Job Description
| 1 | Capable to communicate with team and supervisor to understand the work requirement |
| 2 | Efficient to obtain sufficient information from the superior official to understand the need and perform initial task |
| 3 | Good skill levels in the use of hand tools, machine tools and workshop equipment |
| 4 | Identification of tools and tackles. |
| 5 | Operating procedures of material handling equipments, including manual handling. Knowledge of different tools and tackles used in rigging |
| 6 | Know the application of various knots (reef, emergency, kadam, two half, bow line, etc and and hitches |
| 7 | Know splicing of sling, making eye using bull dog grip, construction of manila and steel rope |
| 8 | Know use of table to know the capacity of rope and SWL of slings base on apical angle |
| 9 | Ability to select of steel sling and Selection /Rejection criteria of steel sling. |
| 10 | Know the storage of sling on shop floor and care & maintenance of rope |
| 11 | Know to measure diameter of sling to find out its capacity and evaluation of capacity of steel rope |
| 12 | Capable in lifting load using chain block or lifting load using jacks. |
| 13 | Have knowledge of construction and application of chain block, different type of jacks, chain blocks and pull lift |
| 14 | Knowledge of different types of scaffolding, Ascending and descending on scaffolding |
| 15 | Knows shifting a motor or gear box |
| 16 | Knows application of sling on irregular shape load and material movement by using different rigging tools & technique. |
| 17 | Capable to repair and check tackle before use. |
| 18 | Capable to lifting load using derrick |
| 19 | Capable to shifting load using winch |
| 20 | Capable to find out weight of load. |
| 21 | Capable to use of different legs of sling |
| 22 | Skillful in using of appropriate signal while using crane |
| 23 | Capable to identify the problem and cause of any delays in the process/activity |
| 24 | To refer the problem to the technical support team if it cannot be resolved. |
| 25 | To record and perform the services accurately as per organizational processes and policies |
| 26 | Understand the job role and follow the organisational policy |
| 27 | Follow safety regulations at work place |
| 28 | Capable to work along with colleagues and supervisors |
ExperienceÂ
Minimum 1-3 Shutdown & Gulf experience in Oil & Gas Company

- 5 years contract
- Duty hours – 9 hrs.
