Job Title (Functional/Working Title) : Mechanical Installer
Function (Department) : Operations, Plant Croatia

Job Summary:

• This position is part of Operations organization within Plant, 3 production lines – Standard IMS (Smartmod, Smartmod MAX), Custom Thermal (Air-Handling units) and Standard Thermal (DP400)
• Based on resource availability, position will support Custom IMS projects
• Tasks:
o Work on product/unit mechanical installation and equipment installation
o Execute daily tasks given by the Foreman within the scope of the production line
o Study and apply given documentation, work orders and working instructions
o Use material given by the BOM and technical documentation
o Use tools necessary for a particular assembly/installation
o Follow safety regulations within the Plant
o Report any non-conformity found (material, process, documentation)
o Support other activities on the production line, if delegated by the Foreman – testing, packaging, and loading
o Escalate to Supervisor if support is needed from other departments/functions (Engineering, warehousing, testing, QC)
o Collaborate with other team members
o Participate in improvement initiatives/projects on the production line/within the Plant
o Involvement in Kaizen/Continuous improvement
o Participate in project, team or department meetings

Business Unit Job Summary:

• Plant Croatia – supports 2 Lines of Business – IMS (Integrated Modular Solutions) and Thermal
• Products are divided in 3 production lines:
o Standard IMS – Standard portfolio developed within IMS LOB – Smartmod, Smartmod Max, Powermod etc
o Standard Thermal – Standard portfolio developed within Thermal LOB – DP 400
o Custom Thermal – Custom Air-Handling Units developed for a specific project/customer, includes prototyping

• Production department within Operations produces/assembles products within given specifications and project/production plans.
• Production activities include mechanical and electrical installation of the Unit and its subassemblies

Responsible for mechanical assembly/installation of the unit
• Responsible for the equipment installation within the units
• Responsible to execute given daily activities
• Responsible for complying to Safety regulations
• Responsible for the quality of daily tasks

Education & Certifications: Please note minimum and preferred requirements for education. This includes degree, specializations and certifications.

Minimum requirements:
• High school education – Qualified worker (mechanical)
• Required experience – a minimum of 1 year on similar positions

Optional requirements:
• Forklift operator
• Lifting platform operator
• Crane operator
• Working at height
• Welding/Brazing
• Certification – machining, welding etc.
